LIBERTUS IV THE BEGINNING

“Freedom guides us” (Libertus I) is a synthesis of the experience which allowed me to realize that I was determined to paint and that it was only by fully accepting it that I could feel free, hence the paradox described above. Like it, "In the beginning" was in the making for seven years in my mind, as an idea, to wait patiently for the day when I was ready. I painted it in one morning. My brother had this thought: "it's crazy how you resume as if you never stopped!

"In the beginning", as its name suggests, marks the beginning of a new stage in my painter's adventure, I decided (or "I accepted", as desired!) to take up the brushes and make them my main activity. With my experience, nothing could stop me, not even me. As if by chance, but chance is a good pretext what escapes our understanding, I met communication and coaching professionals who became real friends and whom I still thank warmly for having helped me so much in my professionalization course.

"In the beginning" is one of my favorite paintings. Black and white at first glance, many reflections of colors stand out as we observe it. It participated in several exhibitions alongside "Freedom guides us". I then donated it to "La Villa Rivière" which, sponsored by the Fraysse et Associés study, organized the first auction sale in Reunion Island for the benefit of another charity, "Le refuge" . I was astonished and still a little proud that it was, out of the fifty works present, and this despite the presence of recognized international artists, the one that won the biggest auction, beyond my starting prices, granting me a valuation that I had not given myself. The adventure is just beginning.
